As many of you are aware my car hovers just above the ground :D

I currently have Avo coilovers fitted and in the last couple of weeks I brought some poly donuts as I thought I'd freshen up the handling and ride somewhat with a few new bits.

In the end, I only brought the donuts as everything upon removal looked spot on and physically intact...anyway...

Today, I took the dampers off and replaced them, 1 to 1.5hrs with my little'un helping out here n there

Needless to say, since replacing them, the ride and road holding has improved drastically compared to before. It literally felt like a new car, sort of :wasntme:

I would highly recommend the poly donuts for everyone who has adjusted the ride height, whether its as extreme as me or not :D :agree:

Before

old vs new - the old bush is very 'ovalised', probably because of my ride height :ashamed:

Fitted

And I couldn't resist adjusting the height platform, its now sitting -10mm lower than before...:ashamed::D

Needless to say, once fitted, the car felt great, even in the stupendous rain showers we've had all day today

I brought those.

They are listed as what they class as a 'B' grade part but both mine were fine :)

Yep i agree...it feels nice and tight up front with the avo's and poly set up :agree:

Must get the raider out and remind myself how nice and smooth the drive actually is compared to this clio 5

I had a pair of those poly donuts when they first come out, they went softer than o.e over a couple of thousand miles! were rock hard initially though:confused:
