hi all
every time i start the engine the lm1 comes up with max/min ~20 af and some time when driving a long. is this a fault with the senor or does it need re calibrated ?
i don't have any user manual as the unit came with the car. all i have is the lm1 ,the wire to the senor and the power lead,

which lead do i need to use the log works? (lm1 to laptop)
do i need the cd to use logworks?
i did read somewhere you can get a box of trick that works with the lm1 that reads the boost egt and rpm does any one have any more info on this?
many thanks allan

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Sound like it needs to be re-calibrated, as I have just had the same problem.
Ive found a link to the manual here -

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support/manual/LM1_Manual.pdf

and this is where you can buy cables from to attach to your laptop-

www.vwspeedshop.com (http://www.vwspeedshop.com)

I've just had a look through my LM-1 manual, it says you need to recalibrate it first and if that doesn't work you need someone who has more experience :D

You can download logworks 3 from the innovate website as well :)

does the lm1 come with Built-in RPM converter like the lm2?

ok just re cal'ed the lm1 only take's a few sec when you know what your doing. so then i took the car for a test drive watching the lm1 i get a afr reading until i'm on full throttle and then i get a 20.1o2 slow riseing to 20.5o2 reading .

why is the lm1 switching between afr/o2?
what is the o2/oxgen reading for?

thanks allan
