My father needs to either renew his McAfee account or get some different virus scanning software.
Thing is McAfee doesn't half slow things down & I think is a bit :crap:
I remeber their being a link on here before about a good free one which come recommended but I can't find it now??
Any suggestions all you Techy types?? :D

Honestly, I would go for Microsoft's own product http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/. It doesn't seem to take up as much resources unlike other AV products and it actually does a good job at protecting your system with minimal fuss. I've been using it for a while now as an upgrade from Sophos and I'm more than impressed with the results.
