oil cooler and rad fitting problems

just tried to fit my copper rad and oil cooler but my original oil cooler pipes have the wrong size male threads that are too small for the threads on the new oil cooler. has anyone come across this before? i bought the rad from cgb motorsport. my old rad was copper as well and i'm sure my pipes are standard.

When you oil cooler, are you talking about the one in the rad or an external job?

I had the same problem the first time i changed my rad, seems there is more than one type of connection, I just binned it off and got an external cooler but you could take the rad back along with your oil cooler lines and argue that they got the wrong one
