anyone know why cgb are charging a tenner more on ebay than they are on their website for a chrome rocker cover?

You including the vat and delivery on the website? plus a lot of people bid on eBay as its easy to do rather than speaking to the company and finding 9 times out of 10 its normally cheaper if you dont go through eBay.

coz ive bought stuff from ebay and for a second hated the idea that the same person is selling it cheaper elsewhere. Dont get me wrong the stuff ive got from them has always been good and arrived in super quick time

his prices vary abit, some things are fair yet others are a rape in progress.. he needs to get a grip on his postage as its steep for a bolt or whatever....or is it like bb tuning used to be, tenner to deliver a washer, tenner to deliver manifold-turbo-bumper etc?

dont forget the ebay listing fee ,ebay selling fees and the paypal fees , i can see why his stuff on ebay is more expensive to cover the extra costs .

it must be hard for a seller to actually make money selling through ebay but it does advertise to a wider market so maybe increasing his prices a little and the extra market make it worth while.

ive only ever sold 1 thing on ebay ,it sold for £155 and ebay takes £16 for the selling fee , £1 odds to list then the paypal fee , its a total rip tbh

As an ebay shop you get special listing rates and final fees! I agree as average jo it is hard to make any money from ebay, unless you got the bits for free!

Or if you phone him. Never order anything small through the site, its only a few quid postage when ordered over the phone.

Personally, I'd order through this company instead. We get a discount with them too

Plus the parts are cheaper in the first place! :agree:

Exactly. There are other alternatives, rather than solely relying on CGB to supply your gtt parts.

Indeed, GT Turbo Spares are far better in quality and price.
