ive recently changed my halfords battery to a good working battery as when i wouldnt drive the car for a few days the battery would be completely flat. (still need to take that back) now my other battery has gone flat after 3 days. could really do with some advice and ideas as to what could be the cause of this. as its getting beyond annoying now thanks

Have you checked the battery is actually getting charged when the engine is running ????

You got an alarm, or possible drain on the battery somewhere. Batteries shouldn't die within 3 days unless its not charging like Kris said or you got a drain on it whilst not in use.

First off get a volt meter, whac it on the battery and you should get 12volts, start the car up and it should go up to 14volts, if it doesn't somit ain't with your altinator
