hello all, just gettin the 172 turbo r5 bk out of the garage after 3 years of being tucked away, new clutch, flywheel, gearbox, 16 new valves, pair of cams, head gasket, head bolts and cambelt to list a few things since my last trip to the pod lol, thing is im goin to be lookin at having a remap and goin for around the 300hp figure (currently at 255hp last time it was rr)

i was told told the injectors i currently have are at there max so will be in the need of a larger set before i do anything, i have been told siemens injectors are very good to have but when lookin on ebay to get a rough price of what these are going to cost they have low and high impedance ? whats the diffrence between these and more importantly whats the better option to have ?

cheers

You need to know which type you are running on the car at present .Easy enough to measure .
It's to do with the heat that they generate and what affect that has on the ECU ..

I can run either on the Adaptronic .I'm on the lookout for some for the new GTA V6 at a reasonable cost .There are also better spray patterns to look out for .The newer generation ones have 4 spray the older like the 803 are single .
Best value I've found so far 440cc ..He sells in sets of 6 but the 8 are only £20/30 more

rite so far ive found a chat with what i can find most info out on and this is what ive found so far which to me means nothing as i aint got a clue what it all means lol

they are bosch 280150985's
flow of
lbs/hr 36.63
cc/min 385
grams/min 276.0

rating of
chart had no info on this part for these injectors

.52 bsfc - est hp duty cycle
80% 56.4
95% 66.9

and that they are high impedance

ive been advised to go for siemens low impedance, can the car run low impedance with a remap or will it have to stay high impedance injectors ?

as we're talking about injectors how do you know if your running high or low impedance? i'm using 380cc part no mjy10023 from the research i have done i think they are rover tomcat injectors the same as ford 803. i also read on another forum that my ecu dta e48 exp doesn't like to run on low impedance.

so the question i ask is
are mjy10023 injector high or low impedance?
does the e48exp use high or low impedance injectors?
are mjy10023 rover tomcat injectors?

thanks allan
