Lookin down my carb today with lobster off an noticed with any even the smallest movement of the throttle the emulsion tube jet squirts a strong stream of fuel, is this normal? I thought it was only supposed to do it to to help out at at high revs or at certain throttle angles like when throttle is snapped open? Car runs ok but does smell very fuelly sometimes.

That nozzle is the accelerator pump jet mate, yeah it meant to do that everytime you move the throttle pedal.

ok, but isnt it supposed to be only at hight revs? or should it do at at any movement? Cause never noticed it before, but only hav after setting up acc pump the 5mm drill bit way.

No does it everytime you move the accelerator pedal mate, high rev's, low rev's, even blipping the throttle when car is stationary.

thanks alot will do i ave put a different carb on at the moment its idles at 100o rpm when warm but when revved up and let off it hunts at 800 rpm then rises back to 1000 rpm after a minute or 2. is this hestation, i have checked for leaks with car cleaner, sprayed into idle jet and lobster. but the car still does the hesitation problem. took the car for a spin today and off boost guage its runniong 14 psi there is a bit of smoke coming from the exhaust its not the turbo or the valve seals as there new. im running standard jets is 14 ps ok on a t2/t25 or should i be using a 130 main thanks
