AFR mounting boss

What would happen if the mounting boss for the AFR gauge was mounted after the bend in the downpipe?? would it not be accurate at all?:confused:

Wont matter really unless you got holes in your exhaust which might cause a problem, as a lot of people make up brackets to put it at the end of the exhaust as well.
