Nitromethane

Does anyone know where i can buy some Nitromethane in the UK? Im struggling to find a supplier myself. I only want a gallon at most for now. Any help appreciated:)

it'll only mix with methanol, not gasoline....

model airplane fuel use a % of nitromethane. - have you tried that avenue?

also have you tried asking at hauser racing?

I want it to mix my own nitro fuel for my RC car. Its upto nearly 30 quid a gallon now so much much cheaper to mix my own. As sparkie said it mixes with methanol plus you then add nitro at the % you want plus castor oil and synthetic oil. Ill give them a try sparkie cheers. :)

Antony Billington - G-MAX race fuels.

Thats really dangerous fuel guys. This year in Germany FIA race and guy nut gunned a head stud back in to a block filled with Nitro, He broke his arm in 2 places and got cover in aluminium from the explosion.

The fuel sent a head stud about 100 feet away.:confused:

I know its dangerous mate, it could be the reason im struggling to get hold of it? I really dont need much at all. 1L of it will make 5L of fuel. If i cant get it ill just have to keep spending out on ready mixed.
