Just popped some toyo tr1's on as a necessity to staying alive after running Wanli s1099's for a few years. They were the worst tyres ever. The toyos are dam good, brilliant grip, especially roung corners. Highly recommended.:agree:

Yep, T1R's are a great tyre, but I thought that was already a well known fact on here... :coffee: ;)

I swapped back to the skinny cheapalottos on the Twingo as they felt better. I'm hoping that'll reverse with better suspension.

Yoko A032R's were the best tyres I ever used, it's a shame they didn't last much more than 500 miles on the front with camber, horrible in the wet mind. The T1R's aren't bad, the F1 Eagle's are good too.

they were great on my 5, but pony on my old dears 182 and getting worse.. handlings fine but nowhere near as good as the mich exaltos, but im not kidding myself as the t1rs were half the price.. the thing i hate is the bloody noise, there worse than the r888 on my 5.. the cars tracked up with no uneven wear so it just looks like the t1r will have to go after this set.

Have you read this thread mush? Maybe you could try Toyo T1-R's. I hear they get good reviews. I even remember someone starting a thread somewhere with the title "Awesome tyres!!", where several people praised them. I can't remember where that was though :scared:

Yokey A539's were awesome cheap tyres, really good grip in the wet and dry... only downside was they wear quite quick.. discontinued now though and not a massive fan of the Paradas, seem to go off quite quickly, Mixed feelings about the T1Rs, had the older ones (which I think were the T1S) and was a far better tyre...

still 888's and slicks on the cup and can't go wrong :)
