Brake Regulator

I was told that the rear brake regulator on the Gt turbo is the same as 1.7 and diesels 5's etc. Anyone know if thats true ? or is it a specific one on the turbo model.

No, those cars had drums, GTT had discs......
Clio 16v has the same compensator though.

They had a similar looking one, part number doesn't match though so I expect there are some minor internal differences.
