central locking key fob tuning?

I managed to get it powered up today (previously cut out) I have the sensor in the roof and a renault keyfob plip thing. I dont think these are paired. I remember reading an article on getting them tuned so they work together?

Yes i know its crap security etc. But i have other security and just want to get the doors to open when its pitch black in the garage!!

You need a fob paired to the receiver ideally matt. You can reprogram them by cutting & soldering but iirc it was difficult to do.

But as luck happens ive got an o.e fob/sender, ill dig it out in next day or so & test it if your interested?
