scoff u may have looked at this idea before so dont shoot me lol

on the synchro rings if u remove every other 'tooth' it enables a smoother gear change.

just a thought for u .

don't worry, you're more likely to teach me stuff about gearbox's, I know nowt, always left that to the pro's... I read about removing the teeth, problem is, I don't understand how they work anyway ? I can't find a single decent explanation telling me why that works. I would like to understand the synchro's better.

Anyone planing on atending this event and camping?

theres a few of us bums from the east midlands convoying down saturday dinner time and camping for the sunday.

anyone want to convoy/camp with us drop a pm or reply on here

wudnt be abe to teach u much mate,
its just something that the boys in time attack are doing i also read it in a jap mag i think.

i think its along the lines of less teeth, less friction, and quicker engagment.

instead of getting say 50 teeth in to 50 slots
u only put 25 teeth in to 50 slots
sort of

ill try and find the article i read

i know theres me and ron in his valver, i believe coops will be joining us with his valver at some point. we should all be camping around the same area.
couple of other clio guys im guessing as well, so it would be good to try out number them with R5 beasties!

there will be about 5 of us in R5s and clios that i know of currently.
Where leaving form Junction 28 M1. before dinner time saturday.

Prices for camping will be on the santapod website.

failing that look out for the car or some dude with a bright yellow radiation tshirt on..thatll be me.
i do believe were setting up a BBQ. if we dont ill be bringing some disposable burger killers!!!

my clutch is slippping like a dog but all the efforts are being piled into the hybrid conversion on my R19. so its clutch slip up the strip for me!
