When I bought the 5 it only had the rear part of the cage in the car without the cross bar and the front bars that drop down just before the dash and found out they were thrown out for scrap by the last owners mum:cry:

I am wanting to put the rest of the cage but finding it hard to contact any companies that do the omp bolt in cage.

If anyone can help me it would be very helpful. Pic below of the cage

Are you sure that's an OMP cage? I ask as mine doen't look like that!

was told it was an omp cage and comparing it to my mates safety device its different.

I know it was bought from Mark on here so he can help out with any luck!

Its not an OMP one as mine is totally different to yours mate, mine is quite old now so could have changed it but don't remember them doing it.

i dont think its omp matey, its a strange one, i bought it from some lad in peterboro about 4 years ago, he took it out of a dimma campus, and it was red. its strange as it had door bars, bit where the interior light is, and a bar between the B pillars in the rear footwell

on my orange 5, i had a ktec rear, and just got the local powerflow to make me up a front section

Could be for a nova or 205...

I wish I could but I bought this 5 to runabout in whilst i finish the clio turbo project even though its ready for the road I ripped it apart again:wasntme:

I can`t keep spending silly money on it:dearme:

Could be for a nova or 205...

it did fit in the 5 correctly, all the mounting points fitted somewhere that they appeared to be meant to fit, and the front had the bends to clear the dash.... may have been a custom one of somesort

not got a clue what it is worth to be honest, the whole car might be up for sale soon if i get the clio turbo finished as I would like a s14a as my new runaround:laugh:

hmm... i'd be interested if the price is right... payday 2mora but limited funds as its for my raider bucket, plus side is your not a million miles away...

Are there mounting points for the front cage?
The OMP cage that YB racing sell had a sort of slip joint which sticks out of the hoop pointing towards the front and it is not an add on to a normal cage its all or nothing.

I can help you out with the missing diagonal etc if you like as I make up bars to add to lesser spec cages at work. Just in the process of turning a £400 megane coupe cage into a £1800 Maxi Megane cage! :D
