fitting water temp gauge

im wanting to fit an electrical temp gauge like this from cgb , it says it comes with a sensor. is this an in pipe jobby ?
what do i need ? will it connect to the original sensor on the pump ?

TIM Water Temperature Gauge 40 - 120 C Electrical



TIM electrical water temperature gauge. Comes with 1/8" NPT temperature sensor with some adaptors for different size fittings. Bulb fitted to allow the gauge to be back lit. 52mm diameter. Black or white face.

it comes with the adapter that fits into where you OE one goes into the water pump......juat make sure you use some PTFE tape on it
