Is the car a write off if it's got a crack in the floor pan?

Looks like the jacking point has taken a nasty pasting from some speed bumps and split through to the inside of the car, sill is pretty pasted too but that's not too much of an issue.

It's the red line

common for the floor to rust through at that point - water sits in the seam between jacking point and floor panel.

It's not a pic of the actual car, it's just a pic I've drawn on to show the area.

The previous owners girlfriend lives down a street with those rediculous brick made speed bumps and the car is lowered, the crack is attritional and it's only really rusted along the crack because it's open to the elements.

Can this be repaired? How on earth would you do it? Is it worth it?

Cheers for any insight :agree:

Might just break it for parts as it's a valver with some nice bits

depends on the value of the car but most sheet metal damage can be repaired by a cut-out, weld-in plate process.just show it to a panal shop and see!

Thanks all :)

Would welding up the crack be sufficient?

TBH I'd rather cut it out and replace a section, the question is how much?
