shouldn't it be some sort of rubbish old phillips unit?

Not sure about phase 1 GTT's, but the phase 2 and the Raider both came with Phillips units.

I have a feeling that the European Raiders had the same stereo unit as the Uk non Raiders as i have seen a few and they are definately not fitted with the UK RDS unit fitted to our blue ones :)

The pioneer in mine is the same as in tonesgtt tungy grey ph2, Same as the pic of his below. Mine has all the original wiring still in place so must be o.e?
