fixing phase 2 front grills?

Got 2 grills, 1 which came on the car and 1 i bought and there both like this, what have you done to fix them?
I was thinking of fiberglassing a washer onto the remainder of the original bit, but anyone got any better ideas or what youv done?

You can see in the pic the centre bit has broke, and the 2 outside bits have broke to so it doesnt hold well to the car:(

You could get some flat sheet metal and bond it like. I've done a little drawing for you, not great but you should get the idea :laugh: O and use about 2mm thick sheet.http://www.rtoc.org/boards/picture.php?albumid=812&pictureid=8517

Buy an new one. It might save time and a headache. I have tried fixing them in the past and it works for a while, then snap!

i was thinking the strip glued on like said about.. i always zip tie mine on so not to put pressure on the fixings, the clips near the lights hold it on well enough..

Yer but when there what, £70+ new?? plus paint, i think its worth a shot trying to save though

yer cheers dave's, i like that idea of glueing a thin bit of metal on. Will give it a try

i used some washers and a dab of fibre glass :) , no brobs
