But if ur car is on the road it should be insured....

If ur car wasn't in gear & the handbrake cable snapped and it rolled forward and killed somebody, you would still be liable for it....

No insurance no car, if you dont have a driveway, garage etc - your problem... or keep the car insured...

If you cant afford insurance then you can afford to drive....

To be able to drive in the UK is a costly thing, its the same rules for everybody.

for your car that you teach people in if not then maybe you should have saved for it before hand i wonder how you would feel if you lost your job now couldnt pay your bills and lost your driveway/garage and then cars

tell that to all the people on the road in london with no tax insurance and mot! whos it realy aimed at. some people just cant see the wood for the trees. so your telling me i should go get a mortgage so that i can have a garage or driveway

If ur car wasn't in gear & the handbrake cable snapped and it rolled forward and killed somebody, you would still be liable for it.... if buts and maybe`s how often does that happen and if it happened maybe twice does it mean that thousands of cars will be taken off people that are taxed and mot`d and that have just been made redundant through this current recession because thats the sort of people who it will probably hit i suspect.

my thoughts exactly. just yesterday on the news seting up centers for crack heads thats my money also all these asylum seekers that cant be chucked out because human rights all these things is why they think up new taxes to screw us with were paying for our own demise and most people put their head in the sand.

Talking about out of gear and rolling down a hill and making you liable, its the same as driving on the road, still an IF you have an accident so saying its ok to drive on the road as its only a problem if you have no insurance if you have an accident

One its more bollox that wont happen from a newspaper.. it may as well be propaganda, yet again until its passed in paliment etc etc dont worry and stop crying... nothing said here changes toffee!

Basicly labour would not be able to instigate somthing klike this as the are more concerned about job cuts in lesser important sectors.

TBH if my car was off the road on a drive or garage for any lentgh of time id have it sorn anyway so it would make no difference.

Think of it... it wont happen with such a shoddy parliment... its starting to feel like thatchers era again

And im sure their would be some loop hold for those who have neither a drive or garage.... ;)

im not to sure with this labour goverment i think they might, it seems the growing trend is to go against the wishes of the masses, just like in germany pre ww2 they made Prostitution legal i belive, against the wishes of the masses which turned them away from their present goverment.

Any way... alot of the problems this country has been having or is facing, has a large amount to do wIth the collapse of the leHmAn brothers bank eTc a yEar ago.
That threw the world into an ecinomical down turn, not to mention war, terrorism... i could go on... although im not keen on labour they have had a hard time, which ever party had been in charge of this countrY Over the past 8 years odd woUld have sufferd the same way we see labour suffer.

Please dont think im defending them as i hate the jaw dropping fish breathing man we Call brown... bUt theN who do i like ThatS the leader of a party... nobody really.... do i want to vote? not really i dont know i would make the right decision.
