ive had a few lupos,is the 1.4 a 16 valve?as the cams on the 16 valves do get a bit noisey and a ball ache to sort.rest of car never get any real problems, and not bad performance for a na 1.4 engine.

The Gti lupo's are great. fun They introduced a 6 speed box in them too which was pointless pulling off in 1st an even 2nd.

Sparkie is right though The seat is just the same as the lupo for less bucks. Other than that they are pretty faultless and i've not come across any common faults whilst i was at vw

hmm on my lunch im going to have a look at these seats. That one im looking at just seems to be priced so cheap compared to the others, and this scares me.

Ive also been looking at 106 quicksilvers and the phase 1 xsi 100bhp models

xsi all the way, they are an absolute machine

i owned one for two years spent a lot of money on it inc a 16valve conversion done by me and a couple of mates. they are awesome little cars.

Shame my bro write mine off though after i borrowed it to him for a week
