Tire Wear

Right,

Apart from starting it up and quickly running round the block a few times I haven't used the 5 much since Mallory. So i got it out tonight for a clean and check up. Before Mallory my Toyo's had probably done 100 miles, all are in good condition apart from the near side front which obviously took most of the punishment.

Is this tire fubar?

half the side wall is scrubbed off. Would it be OK to swap the front 2 tires so the wear was on the inside of the off side wheel, so the tyre wall didn't look rubbish, or should I just buy a new tire?

Just wondered what others would do?

looks on its last legs to me bin it and get another tire

that would get thru and mot, but would still get you 3 points....

get a new pair, and get 4 wheel alignment done at the same time

that looks like toe out , dump the tire and and get wheel alignement done .:agree:

Mine was doing this when my tracking was way out. Sorted it out and it soon looked normal again.

wouldnt fail a mot but would def get an advisory!!!!lol!!!u could swap sides so scrub was on the inside and just save it for spare or for track!!
