Don't know if this has been brought up before, got a fresh engine. What oil is best for these. Cost of oil is irrelevant as the car will only cover a max. of 2kmiles a year, so wont be changing it every weekend.
Was questioning whether to go 10/40 or 20/50? semi or fully synth?

Is that because of the heat generated, needs to be thicker. Seriously dude most people are in bed at this time!

yeah, and that the t2 engine is an old design. - can't be too thin.

Cool, cheers. The pain of getting it back on the road begins this week, really bricking it in terms of how well I will be getting to know parts suppliers. That would be another recommendation I could do with, as I know John Price charges a premium for most parts.
Need pads, discs all round, 1 new rear caliper or recon, fuel filters. Think thats a good start.:dearme::cry::cry:

are you still running standard discs and pads etc?

i really wouldn't use John Price for anything. He hasn't got his reputation for nothing.
