The manifold used for this conversion came from a car that was a strong competitor of the same category as the R5.

hmmm :scratch::coffee:

Which manifold you looking at mate, inlet or exhaust?

If your looking at the inlet it looks like a Fiat Uno inlet manifold to me

From what I recall from others looking into that manifold...

the fitment is far from straightforward, put another way, probably not worth trying.

as far as i know dave the uno engine either does'nt tilt back or even tilts fwd so u have much more room and longer manifold runners.

What about the Suzuki Swift alternator swap?
has anyone tried this before to get extra clearence for charge hoses?

It is off a earlier uno turbo.:)

I used a fiat punto 90 manifold......the same manifold as used on the punto turbo.

If i was to do it again i would use stainless steel as it is easier and quicker to make..... this one took me months:cry:
