21/03/2015 Santa Pod Sat night Special RWYB

Anyone up for this?? thinking of putting the car back out again next year after a few changes and wondering if anyone else would be interested in going and having a bit of a club stand.

Cost of the event is £10 entry and £25 to run, you will need your photo part of full license, a helment if you will go over 110mph.

I'd be interested in coming up. I won't be in my 5 (or possibly even a Renault) but just to meet up again

Is that on a totally std 5? you can see on the 1/4 board what spec's people run so you can see what you can get out of your car roughly

Standard turbo running around 18psi..double intercooler,,TDC wire swap..uprated hoses 2"exhaust
Tesco 99 juice lol heavy right foot..pretty tame really to be fair. on bhp rough guess I'd say 140 150bhp power to weight aynt bad really..was my first ever go..n I loved it need some wider tyres thou really struggled to pull off on the 13s standards...2nd run was 15.2 n fluffed my last one 16.4 damm lights!!

Chap in a red corsa merit..possible xe smoked me ha all good fun

All the fives should park up in the same place!! Show of strength

You don't have to go when the light is green just take your time and go when your ready.

I wouldn't run a std T2 @ 18psi as its out of its effiency range i would go 16psi max you will just be pushing warm air around.

I have only done a few runs myself and enjoyed it, and like yourself my first run on the same setup as you saw me do a 14.5 with an easy launch, when i rtnd to pod a few months later I had done a few things T28, 2.5" one piece downpipe and 2.5" side exit just doing these and running 18psi of boost saw me do a 13.7 on road tyres and stock engine with a slightly more agressive launch.
