Renault 5 gt turbo (phase 2)

I am looking at selling my Renault 5 GT turbo. It has just undergone a restoration and it has had alot of time and money spent on it. It is extremely difficult for me to sell it as me and my dad built it together but circumstances have changed and needs must.

The car has had a huge amount of work and I will try to list it but I am bound to forget something, but I have receipts to prove the work, the receipts total £6700 and that's without the respray or wheels.

    suspension:
    new apex shocks and springs
    new wishbones
    new antiroll bar bushes

    steering:
    new track rod ends
    new steering rack gaitors

    brakes:
new uprated discs and pads all round
    new wheel bearings
    new goodridge braided brake lines

    engine:
    all new engine internals.
    piper 270 cam
cylinder head is ported polished and has bigger valves
    new T25 turbo
    lightend and balanced flywheel
    new valeo clutch
new samco hose set in black
    new forge front mount intercooler
    chrome carb top
    side exit exhaust
    enlarged downpipe
    new heater matrix
    new water pump
    new thermostat
    new alloy rad

    body:
full glass out respray in tungsten grey the original colour with body kit painted seperate
rear exhaust cut out removed in rear bumper
    door locks removed
    new headlights and indicators
    new sills and jacking points
and all rot removed and replaced with new metal

    interior:
    standard seats
half chrome cage, rear seats still fitted
    new dial faces
AEM afr gauge, stack oil pressure gauge, stack boost gauge

    wheels:
zender phase 2 turbos polished faces and lip. machined to fit the hubs
    4x new avon zv3 tyres

It has passed MOT with no advisories so it has 12 months test and six months tax, the car has only done 140 miles after all this work. There's probably loads I have forgotten but if your interested then we can discuss the car in more detail.

I think the car is priced to sell at £5300 I think this is a fair price and I don't want a part exchange.

Thanks for looking and pm me if you have any questions or are interested.

Its worth that in filler alone!

That is a great price for a restored fast road car mate. Especially as the engine has all been done properly and the pipe work set up by forge.

Shame you have to sell it especially so soon after youve finished rebuilding it, but good luck with the sale its a lovely example.

Really liking the colour, looks so fresh. Bargain price I personally think when you look at what's been done and your getting.

If you sell this, your never get one the same again and will cost a lot more to build to same standard the way prices are going. So go on, keep it, you know it makes sense.

If I could keep it I would and prices are slowly going up so I think it isn't a bad investment if maintained properly you wouldn't need to do anything to it for a long time.
