    the real raider

    1990 renault 5 gt turbo RAIDER 100k odd miles
    I have owned the car for four years and have had the usual ups and downs but have loved every minute of it

    Good solid shell had a bit of rust on the drivers side rear quarter which was cut out and replaced just needs painting. Also has a pearl drivers side wing and an un-painted bumper and grille.

    Inside
    Interior is standard except for an oil pressure gauge, afr gauge, boost gauge and the megasquirt ecu on the center console, drivers seat has the usual worn bolster but passenger side is good, rear bench is also in good condition. Also has white dials fitted before i go the car
    Parcel shelf is un-cut and in excellent condition. Rear quarter cards have been replaced to house some 6x9" speakers still have the originals that will go with the car.

    Outside
    Again pretty standard except for pearl drivers wing, un-painted bumper (holes cut for more ait to intercooler) and aftermarket grille and a vented bonnet (paint flaking round vents) Rear window dosnt have raider on it and no door pillar stickers.
    Sunroof removed and covered up with carbon effect plastic popriveted on and new headlining fitted.
    Under bonnet
    volvo b18ft engine fully rebuilt when fitted a few years ago, great engine bags of power great compression etc...
    clio rsi cam like the 'e' cam
    saab red injectors
    large throttlebody
    log manifold
    large front mount intercooler keeps inlet temps low very short 2.5" boost run hard pipes.
    freshly rebuilt gt2860r turbo by cr turbos at a cost of £615 with gtx front wheel full boost by 2.5-3k and pulls very well.
    megasquirt ecu with launch control and knock tek, has a good map so car can be driven but needs mapping properly on rollers to reach its full potential.
    seperate oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate
    large alloy 50mm rad with spall type fan
    uprated scoff logg solid engine mounts
    bosch 044 fuel pump
    BMS one piece down pipe 3" to 2.5"
    tiger sidey (sounds ace has a lovely burble)
    clio valver hubs, shafts, wishbones, discs, callipers gives a nice wide stance improves handling no end.

    lowered 35mm on new koni sport dampers all round with torsion bar dropped to suite
    team dynamics pro race 1.2's excelent condition 195/45/15 goodyear eagle f1s front toyo t1rs rear.

    this car has had a lot of work done to it mainly performance and now just requires tarting up with a bit of paint etc...
