Re: Cumbria classic car show
trying to get hold of the organiser but they are on a run today , looking at the met office forecast there is a weather warning for tomorrow ( up to 50 mm of rain in the area ) so its not looing good
-
Re: Cumbria classic car show
Yeah, Lou's mum has been at the house in Bowness for the last 3 weeks and she says it's been rain, rain and more rain. At least you won't have a hosepipe ban! Would it be rearranged or just cancelled?
-
Re: Cumbria classic car show

no news is good news:scratch:
-
Re: Cumbria classic car show
sorry for taking so long but waiting for the organisers to get back to me after the run they have today.
They say the show is still on , but i am concerned that the met office website say there's a chance of really heavy rain and possible flooding.. what do you guys think , if you are prepared to drive up and risk the wet stuff - i would just hate for you to drive up to find a waterlogged field?
-
Re: Cumbria classic car show

Re: Cumbria classic car show
Well last year was very soggy under foot, and we'd not had as much rain as this year, so im with Dave, i fear it'll be like a swamp, i also fear not many collectors will want to take their pride and joy classic out to a muddy field on a sunday.
Im gunna stay at home, get under lous feet and watch the grand prix. soz tim, you'll have to come along to the next curry meet :)
-
Re: Cumbria classic car show
K I'll be driving up on my own as I've txt stu and don't think he's guna be able to make it
