If your painting over the old paint just use something around a 1200 w&d to remove any imperfections. Then get some good light coats of paint on. Try not hold the can/gun too close to avoid runs & keep away from any areas where dust/leaves etc will blow onto your work. Most of the hard work is in the lacquering. Bite the bullet and you will be fine if you take time. :smokin:
Where abouts could i find out what colour code my car is, because i might buy the paint before hand in litres. I wouldn't spray the car myself, best to let someone do it who can.
Im after maybe a colour code booklet or something.
If its a standard colour, it'll be stamped on the VIN plate... the bodyshop will be able to sort out the correct colour from the code.
Cheers boys, appreciated :)
Looks like im going to morelli's - http://www.morelli.co.uk/
