Karl! Is that really you?
Try Ashy I'm sure he still has a Gordon heed.

Re: Dini Parts - Garage Days Re-Revisited
I may know of someone, that has one. I'm doing an exhaust for them in a couple of weeks time, and they have quite a few gordini bits knocking about. Are all the rocker assemblies the same?

Hi Matty,
Thank you for the quick reply. Im sure the rocker assemblies are the same - atmo and turbo. However, the pushrods are thicker, and the head is reinforced. I may be able to use the GT followers? Also, Ive missing valves and valves and springs lol.

The Gordini T head has been stuck in the garage - along with Ralph - for a few years now. It has been owned by a few old members, though nothing came of it. Would be ideal to fit on Ralph's block, and have a trip over to Scoff's :)

Re: Dini Parts - Garage Days Re-Revisited
Have a search on this site. I managed to purchase a full Gordini Turbo Engine from Germany a few months back and it was cheaper than some of the heads and rockers that were for sale separately. https://www.leboncoin.fr/annonces/offres/ile_de_france/

iMessages the guy I know, and he has a rocker assembly, but was keeping it for a spare. He is after a water pump pulley with the 3 holes in which might persuade him to part with the rocker.

lol Swap Shop, thank you for messaging the guy. Unfortunately, I don't have a dini water pump, nor, to swap ... The head has been modded to use the GTT pump :)

The gordini followers are a different size to the gtt followers from memory.
Followers have been produced in the past by Newman Cams. I purchased a set when Andy Cooke had Newman produce a few sets, this was around 10 years ago, price was a lot less than Renault.
I sold all my Gordini turbo parts and new followers to Tony "Fish head" if he is still on here it might be worth a try.

Hi Lee, thank you for the info :) I'll track down 'Fish Head' and send a message. Not spoke to Andy for a few years, I'll surprise him with an email :)

Haha, I think with parts being so hard to come by he's reluctant to get rid of any spares without replacing them with other parts he needs. When I hand him my invoice, he may be willing to sell some parts. :wasntme:

Re: Dini Parts - Garage Days Re-Revisited
Another excellent contact for Alpine or Cleon motor parts is JL Engineering based in London. (Look them up on facebook) They specialise in all classic Renault and have helped to source and provide parts for my Turbo 2. I know when i last spoke to John less than a week ago, he was having some Cam followers made in Germany as Renault no longer supply and the available items from France were not of very high quality.
He also has some very interesting builds ongoing that are worth a read

Cheers for the info :) http://www.renaultalpine.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7047
In work at the mo, wouldn't mind looking at the dimensions: GTT vs. Alpine/Dini followers :)

Re: Dini Parts - Garage Days Re-Revisited
Did you have any luck getting the bits you need?
Since doing a bit of work on a a Gordini engine, I'm going down that route myself and after some parts. Lol

Hi Matty,
I've managed to source all parts, but, 1x long pushrod and 1x short pushrod.
Its been a task sourcing individual parts ... good luck
