RTOC@Shakey, weekend of racing and camping

right this place is dire empty nowadays, im going to sort us a club stand for this event, its later in the year but i hope lots of you can turn out, its a weekend of camping and rwyb racing so would be a good meet up even if you didnt want to run.

i was thinking of throwing up this on a few other renault club sites, the 16v clio boys really like a good drag day so i could possibly advertise it as a rtoc vs day? it is on an open weekend so anything could turn up but would give us the opertunity to scope it out as a possible venue for a club only meet next year?

anyway get your names down and ill see you there, plenty of time to get your cars ready by then :agree:

yes ade thats a good idea, id be well up for a vs day with another club or id be well up for just coming along! :rolleyes:

It's on the same weekend as the 'Ring/Spa trip, but then the interest for that has fallen away as well...

i know bud but with the amount of members we have there should still be plenty left to come along to this? was just trying to organise a little meet up that involves camping drinking and racing. i know its ages away but theres no point in me even asking for a vs day with another club if no one from heres going to show the effort and turn up.

Whats the score with the 'ring trip? all ive heard about is booking up for the spa trackday, any other crack i.e hotels or owt?

If its not going ahead ill go down for this.

I could be up for this. Might have half a car to bring along too!:D

It's still going ahead mate, but due to lack of interest/lack of replies to the group PM that I sent, I closed the thread. If you're still up for going, as there's still several of us that are, drop me a PM and I'll keep you posted with crossing/hotel developments.

Way things going at moment thois will be the only time i get to drive my car, end of the year.

I'm still interested but was more bothered about the ring and would just enjoy going to spa and hopefully tagging along as a passenger in someones car. Are you planning on re-opening the thread if you end up going to the ring too?

Yeah I was on the list, put myself as James though rather than j8tro so might have caused some confusion?
