Re: My Johnny 5 turbo project :)
Looking nice, you reliase the cooling fan sticker should be on the cold air feed not on the intercooler.

You'll be one of these people that keep these true OE examples alive:agree:
Was good to meet you and see the car in the flesh, and most certainly its the little things that make the most difference, and yours litterally does just need little things:agree:
Did you get the 2pin fan connector in the end?

Re: My Johnny 5 turbo project :)
It is indeed the little things but by rectifying everything do you loose some of the originality? Been thinking about this and making all perfect do you loose some of the character of what after all is a 20 year old car?

Re: My Johnny 5 turbo project :)
Car looks amazing mate, I am doing the same thing with mine and if it looks anywhere near the same as yours I`ll be well happy, just wanted to know if you have the same issue with mine on the front indicators?
I fitted new headlamps (non genuine as apparently you can`t get the valeo ones anymore), but I fitted genuine front orange indicator lenses, but they sit really low and leave a big gap betweeen them and front wing!
Did you sort it or any ideas on this issue?

If you mean the resin cast one - it went months ago. Replaced with some stickers from a guy in France. Looking for a decent/faded one now. Missed one bob sold on ebay a couple of weeks back for £20

I know exactely what you mean but....... Mine isn't perfect! I don't mind admitting it. Original paintwork, slightly scuffed stickers etc. lots of imperfections which show its age. I see what I've done as more of a refresh of things that can be changed (lights, suspension etc). It looks like a 1990 and not one which has been driven out of the showroom yesterday. Difficult one really as if you look at many of the ford clubs now they are doing all metal resprays etc to fully restore them. I've not needed to fully restore mine as it has been well looked after in the past so just bringing it up to speed with bits and bats! Clean but not perfect (and proud of that fact). :)
