Hi is the main fuel tank a straight swap for a non gtt ?
I've got campus filler neck fitted already with the reserve tank removed but want to get the tank off and swap it for one without a bung, and give behind the tank a clean :scared:
Also am I right in thinking the campus tanks didnt have the bung in?

Not sure on the bung but they don't come with the baffles in the tank I think
Ive got the same ready to go in and yes they dont come with the bung.:agree:
the bung is not a problem to seal up mines been leak free for 8 years :D

Did you plasic weld it J? With a soldering iron ?
I've used a few different glues etc no joy , starry leaking again after 2/3 years
Hi mate,yep! just undone the tank bolt and was able to wedge it down a little using a small piece of wood,then soldered up bung,also there is some fantastic sealant called Stixall its made by Evo stik and is fuel resistant really is great at what it does,you can purchase it in silicone size tubes or smaller toothpaste type bottles,Ebay,toolstaion sell it :agree::)Quote:

From what I can seem the bung is the baffle moulding and when they construct the tank. The bung is where the tank is held (to hold the baffle) and the tank moulded around it. The baffle is the same colour. Seems more than a coincidence.
