Just wondering if the connection between the hose and the metal pipe is fixed or made to allow for movement?
Not the clamped metal on the hose, but the long metal pipes to the rad etc..........my metal pipes are pretty free to spin round?
I'm assuming this is probably right to allow for easier fitting but want to make sure so i don't get oil pissing out when i fit them:mad::D
i think i know what you mean, once tightened into the rad you can still move the pipe around a bit? if so, then thats fine :agree:

If you were to hold the pipes - rubber hose in one hand - and the metal pipes in the other - should they be able to rotate at the join in the piccy above??

The only parts of the OE oil cooler pipes that move are the unions on the ends.
