Meet at 10am in Fighting Cocks PH, Lowestoft car park for 10.30am start.

An informal gathering to chat about detailing and cars. I'll possibly be prepping
my R5GTT fresh from its restoration.

Numbers limited to a maximum of 10 attendees from 2 groups. To make this
successful needs a minimum of 5 attendees. The more names definitely coming,
the more effort I put in to make it worth your while. e.g. getting a pro-guy to
demo headlight restorations, or another to discuss body-shop secrets. Oh, and
there could be goodie-bags to a value of over £20 of stuff you can actually use!

Fewer than 5 means no choice but to cancel.

What a shame, because a mix of experienced and novice at a do like this is just the job.
That way, all sorts of ideas surface and maybe get tried.

I'm just starting to get in to paint correction, and 'safer' detailing methods, so this caught my eye!

I would love to come but, unfortunately for me, you're just too far away.

One of the definites is Ray, who's travelled up from London on two occasions so far,
so you'd be most welcome. I know, the choice twixt A17/A47/A146 and A1/A14/A12
to get to the back of beyond here, is a tad daunting.

My 5 defo needs some love at the moment, not running great and the laquer has started to go on the roof so starting to look untidy :cry:. Really need to get a garage for it, might struggle with next Saturday depending upon working, will check. :ashamed:

Hello Folks,

Just to say that the day is "On", the weather looks like playing ball and there's
a goodie bag in progress. There's still room if you want to come, but please
advise because the event only meets in the pub car park. We'll be moving on
elsewhere as soon as everyone arrives. I'd not want you to sit there because
you weren't expected.

yet again a great day by Steve, we tried different methods and how to do it the easy and safe way and got to play with the latest potion carpro essence, truly amazing stuff witch we got a big bottle in our goody bag to take home. so for anyone that was unable to turn up you missed a great day. again thanks to Steve for doing this. regards Ray

Well, the rain held off, mostly, until later in the day. At least I was able to demo, and
watch my visitors use, all the latest tech innovations I've been loosely involved with
for a fair while now. To think that half our party travelled over 100 miles to join us,
that's a huge compliment to me and it's a joy to know you found it worthwhile!

The next one will be a Summer Prep next April or May, again weather dependent.
